I am excited to announce that my newest novel, Ana Rocha: Shadows of Justice, is now available as an ebook and in print! This is a police/crime novel set in Houston in 1999. It is co-written by my good friend, Glenda, who has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement around the Greater Houston Area, including experience as a narcotics investigator and special investigative unit agent. The novel follows a young Hispanic woman (Ana Rocha) as she begins her career as a narcotics investigator and soon faces off against some of Houston’s biggest criminals. Although a work of fiction, the novel is inspired by some of Glenda’s cases. You can read more about the book HERE!
I hope you are doing well. I recently published one of my poems on YouTube this past weekend! The name of the poem is “A Nomad’s Muse”. It is about The Syrian Civil war from the perspective of a refugee (it was published in India last December). So far, it’s received some great feedback. Please feel free to give it a listen and let me know how you like it!
With my next novel, Ana Rocha: Shadows of Justice, set to release soon, I am actively looking for book reviewers who may be interested in reading the book and doing a review/interview/spotlight!
This story is a police novel set in Houston and is co-authored by a former undercover narcotics officer of the Houston Police Department, Glenda Mendoza. Although the book is a work of fiction, it is very much grounded in reality and is based on Glenda’s experiences. In fact, the novel’s main antagonist is a drug lord who is based on a crime lord Glenda helped take down several years ago. Continue reading “Looking for Reviewers for Next Novel!”
