I am excited to announce that my newest novel, Ana Rocha: Shadows of Justice, is now available as an ebook and in print! This is a police/crime novel set in Houston in 1999. It is co-written by my good friend, Glenda, who has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement around the Greater Houston Area, including experience as a narcotics investigator and special investigative unit agent. The novel follows a young Hispanic woman (Ana Rocha) as she begins her career as a narcotics investigator and soon faces off against some of Houston’s biggest criminals. Although a work of fiction, the novel is inspired by some of Glenda’s cases. You can read more about the book HERE!

I hope you are doing well. I recently published one of my poems on YouTube this past weekend! The name of the poem is “A Nomad’s Muse”. It is about The Syrian Civil war from the perspective of a refugee (it was published in India last December). So far, it’s received some great feedback. Please feel free to give it a listen and let me know how you like it!
With my next novel, Ana Rocha: Shadows of Justice, set to release soon, I am actively looking for book reviewers who may be interested in reading the book and doing a review/interview/spotlight!
This story is a police novel set in Houston and is co-authored by a former undercover narcotics officer of the Houston Police Department, Glenda Mendoza. The novel follows a young Hispanic woman, Ana Rocha, as she begins her duty as an undercover narcotics officer and soon faces against some of Houston’s biggest criminals. Although the book is a work of fiction, it is very much grounded in reality and is based on Glenda’s experiences. In fact, the novel’s main antagonist is a drug lord who is based on a crime lord Glenda helped take down several years ago. Continue reading “Looking for Reviewers for Next Novel!”
I’m thrilled to announce that the EBOOK version for my next novel, Ana Rocha: Shadows of Justice is now available for Pre-Order! You can check it out HERE! The PRINT version will go live on February 24th God-Willingly!
This police/crime novel is one of the funnest projects I’ve ever written! Set in Houston in 1999, it follows a young undercover narcotics officer as she takes on some of Houston’g biggest criminals. It’s co-written by a former undercover narcotics officer, which gives it an extra layer of authenticity. It was a blast to write this book and I hope that readers enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed creating it!
You can read more details about the book HERE! As always, please feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions. Thank you!
I was recently invited to write a guest blog post for a writer’s blog! The topic I was asked to discuss was how to cope with rejection letters as a writer. As all published authors know, rejection letters are a big part of the journey of any writer. It is important to view them in the correct way. Otherwise, we risk allowing them to hurt our writing ‘self-image’. You can check out the full post HERE!
The post has already received some great feedback and I’d be honored to hear your thoughts as well! Thank you 🙂
